- Now type your 13-digit CNIC number without dashes, ie, 3310011010101, inside the SMS message body.
- Now send this SMS to the “668” number.
- You will receive a reply from PTA containing all of the SIMs with their network operator names registered in your name.
What If You Found Unauthorized SIMs?
If you find out that some unauthorized SIMs are registered in your name, then here are the immediate steps that you should take.
- Carefully review the reply received from 668 and note the mobile network operator of the unauthorized SIM.
- Contact the concerned mobile network operator through its helpline to report the issue.
- Visit the nearest official franchise or customer service center of that operator.
- Carry the original Computerized National Identity Card issued by NADRA.
- Inform the franchise staff that the SIM is not owned or used by the CNIC holder.
- Submit a formal complaint for unauthorized SIM registration.
- Complete the mandatory biometric verification to confirm identity.
- Allow the network operator to verify the complaint through internal records.
- Once verification is successful, request immediate deactivation of the unauthorized SIM.
- Confirm that the SIM has been permanently removed from the CNIC record.
